Forging processes

  • Freeform forging

  • Freeform forging

Freeform forging is a forging process for large, robust parts, in which material quality and homogeneity are paramount. Think of shafts, rings or blocks weighing a few tens of kilos to 40 tons per forging.

    Why forge freeform?

    • For extremely strong and homogeneous parts
    • Ideal for single pieces and small series
    • Suitable for large and long parts
    • Low investment costs
  • Die forging

  • Die forging

Die forging offers a solution for larger quantities and more complex shapes. By working with a mold, we consistently produce precise and mechanically strong parts with a unit weight of up to 200 kg.

    Why drop forging?

    • Good reproducibility
    • Ideal for large series
    • Mechanically very strong
    • Fast production
    • High precision
  • Rolled ring forging

  • Rolled ring forging

Ring rolling is a forging process suitable for ring- or cylindrical-shaped components. It is ideal for producing bearings, couplings, flanges, and component assemblies, up to 25 tons per forging.

    Why ring rolling?

    • Seamless rings with excellent mechanical properties
    • Ideal for single piece production
      to medium and small series
    • Precise dimensions and tight tolerances
    • For high-quality industrial applications
    • Maximum OD = 11,000 mm
