Forging processes
-
Freeform forging
-
Freeform forging
Freeform forging is a forging process for large, robust parts, in which material quality and homogeneity are paramount. Think of shafts, rings or blocks weighing a few tens of kilos to 40 tons per forging.
Why forge freeform?
- For extremely strong and homogeneous parts
- Ideal for single pieces and small series
- Suitable for large and long parts
- Low investment costs
-
Die forging
-
Die forging
Die forging offers a solution for larger quantities and more complex shapes. By working with a mold, we consistently produce precise and mechanically strong parts with a unit weight of up to 200 kg.
Why drop forging?
- Good reproducibility
- Ideal for large series
- Mechanically very strong
- Fast production
- High precision
-
Rolled ring forging
-
Rolled ring forging
Ring rolling is a forging process suitable for ring- or cylindrical-shaped components. It is ideal for producing bearings, couplings, flanges, and component assemblies, up to 25 tons per forging.
Why ring rolling?
- Seamless rings with excellent mechanical properties
- Ideal for single piece production
to medium and small series - Precise dimensions and tight tolerances
- For high-quality industrial applications
- Maximum OD = 11,000 mm
